COVID-19 Policy

amy-greaves-psychologist-melbourne

At Amy Greaves Psychology & Counselling is committed to following the Victorian Government’s recommendations to prevent the spread of Covid-19 amongst our clients and their families. As a result, we will continue to update our regulations as to the requirement of wearing face masks inside our practice. When you make an appointment, you will be advised as to our current requirements for wearing a face mask. Please note, that even in times where face masks are not mandated indoors, clients should feel welcome to exercise their own preference to continue to wear one. Furthermore, I am also able to wear a face mask during sessions, with prior notification.

Please do not attend your appointment if you, or person(s) attending with you:

  • are unwell with cold/flu-like symptoms;
  • are awaiting results for a COVID-19 test;
  • have been in contact (during the past 14 days) with a person who has been diagnosed with COVID-19;
  • have visited an identified COVID-19 exposure site or COVID hotspot within the past 14 days.

If any of the above apply to you, please contact me to arrange a telehealth appointment instead, or to reschedule.

Hygiene, masks & distancing measures (for in-office appointments):

  • please maintain a distance of 1.5 metres between yourself and others during appointments, in waiting areas and moving through the building (N/A to members of the same household);
  • hand sanitiser and handwashing facilities are provided at the practice;
  • unfortunately, there can be no hand-shaking;
  • Amy provides contactless fee payments and rebate processing;
  • there will be regular sanitising of all commonly touched surfaces, such as door handles, and bathroom surfaces;

There is a Victorian Government QR Code sheet in Amy’s consulting room for the purposes of record-keeping - please check in when you arrive for your appointment.
